Partnership with Leading Vocational Schools
PT ODG Indonesia offers a vocational internship program designed for technical high school students (SMK) to meet industry needs in electrical and cooling systems. ODG Indonesia partners with three top SMKs in Jakarta: SMK Negeri 29, SMK Negeri 54, and SMK Negeri 5. These partnerships are formalized through Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs). Each agreement lasts between two to five years. The MoUs outline clear terms on attendance, discipline, evaluations, and student replacement when needed.
Training Duration and Locations
The internship runs for 3 to 7 months, depending on each school’s academic schedule. Students train directly with ODG Indonesia technicians at the head office and at real project sites. They also interact with clients to gain practical workplace insights.
The program includes hands-on modules like confined space entry, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), and working at height. In addition to technical skills, students also learn workplace communication, safety, and professional ethics.

Support and Benefits for Interns
Interns receive many benefits to support their development. These include training certificates, work experience letters, internship ID cards, and access to social security (if eligible). For overtime or weekend work, ODG also requests written parental consent. This ensures the safety and well-being of each intern.
The interns may receive offers to join ODG Indonesia full-time. Past participants who now work at ODG Indonesia include Reifani Bahtiar and Muhammad Aththariq from SMK 29, and Ridwan Hermawan from SMK 54.
This internship is not just work experience. It’s a long-term investment to prepare future talent. ODG Indonesia ensures the program aligns with industry needs and youth potential. The goal is clear: to build a strong bridge from classroom to career.
This vocational internship program helps students build confidence, expand their skills, gain real-world experience, and prepare for future employment in the technical industry.
