Electrical / Electronic Estimator

Job Description:

• Review and validate the scope of work during tender.
• Analyse technical drawings, specifications and provided BoQ to make sure all the require documents/ information complete and correct.
• Prepare Request of Information if need more information or further clarification.
• Prepares estimates cost for construction quantity; manpower, materials (specifications), tools & equipment, material mobilization, etc., based on specifications, drawings, and other materials for equipment installation (ELV or Electrical works).
• Review and evaluate documents (ELV or Electrical works) from vendors/ suppliers and sub-contractors (if needed).
• Develop value engineering proposals based on consultant designs to optimize project costs (if needed).
• Give input and coordinate with scheduler to produce construction schedule.
• Support the procurement process through to PO issuance, coordinating with procurement to ensure correct material will be purchased.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of field experience, with a focus on MEP systems, preferably in data centre or other industrial projects.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and other construction documentation
• Should have an understanding of MEP systems, materials, and construction methods
• Strong MS Excel skills a must
• Some AutoCAD experience is an advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must be detailed, accurate and deadline oriented, able to work long hours and under deadline pressure.
