Tyco Fire Protection Products, manufactures and delivers an unmatched range of fire suppression systems, including extinguishing agents, sprinkler systems, valves, piping products, fittings and fire-fighting equipment and services that help our customers save lives and protect property. We are the power behind their mission. As an industry leader, the company uses its global scale and deep expertise to drive innovation and advance safety in fire suppression applications in more than 190 countries worldwide.

INERGEN® suppressing agent used in ANSUL® engineered systems is particularly useful for hazards where an electrical, non-conductive medium is essential or desirable; where cleanup of other agents presents a problem; where hazard obstructions require the use of a gaseous agent; or where the hazard is normally occupied and requires a non-toxic agent.

VESDA aspirating smoke detection solutions with continuous air sampling provide the earliest possible warning of an impending fire hazard. VESDA aspirating smoke detectors buy the critical time needed to investigate an alarm and initiate an appropriate response to prevent injury, property damage or business disruption. VESDA detectors have multi-level warnings and a wide range of sensitivity that does not degrade or change over time, so even minute levels of smoke can be detected before a fire has time to escalate. In addition, VESDA systems are manufactured using targeted Six Sigma techniques and ISO 9000 standards and have been certified by regulatory bodies worldwide.

ANSUL® is a global premium brand of Tyco Fire Protection Products. ANSUL special hazard fire protection products are designed and manufactured to strict standards and tested under the scrutiny of national and international independent testing laboratories and approval agencies.

ANSUL fire protection products were introduced to the marketplace in 1939 featuring the first cartridge-operated, dry chemical fire extinguisher. As technology changed and dangerous new hazards emerged, ANSUL product engineers worked hand-in-hand with many industries to protect their people and property from fire. Today, the ANSUL Fire Technology Center and Center of Excellence house one of the most extensive fire research and testing facilities in the world.

Sapphire

Already a time-proven clean agent technology with 25 and 42-bar nominal container pressures, the “PLUS” in the ANSUL® SAPPHIRE PLUS system represents 70-Bar capabilities.

ANSUL® FM-200

High-value assets such as data and sensitive equipment demand the quality fire suppression offered by the ANSUL FM-200 Fire Suppression System. The FM-200 system is ideal for areas occupied by personnel and containing assets that could be damaged by water. The low concentration of agent required and low toxicity means less visual obscuration and minimal risk to people.

The system fights Class A, B and C fires with a clean agent that is electrically nonconductive and will not short-out electronic equipment or thermally shock delicate circuitry. The colorless, odorless gas leaves no residue, eliminating postfire agent cleanup and minimizing downtime.

ANSUL® Carbon Dioxide

Carbon dioxide suppresses fire without leaving behind any residues after discharge thus avoiding damage to sensitive equipment. With no agent clean up, there is less downtime after an incident. When properly designed, the carbon dioxide system will suppress fire in Class A, B, and C hazards by displacing the air containing oxygen that supports combustion. Typical hazards protected by carbon dioxide systems include printing presses, vaults, open pits, dip tanks, spray booths, ovens, engine rooms, coating machines, process equipment, hoods and ducts, flammable gas or liquid storage areas, and generators.

ANSUL® Foam Concentrates

ANSUL® foam concentrates are formulated and tested for fire and vapor suppression on a wide range of challenging hazards. Our concentrates are subject to stringent quality controls, from incoming raw materials inspection to finished product testing. ANSUL® concentrates intended for system application include AFFF, AR-AFFF, and Fluoroprotein concentrates for low- and medium-expansion systems, and JET-X concentrates for medium- and high-expansion systems.
