Business Developer
Job Description
- Research and analysis of existing and targeted clients, projects, segments, and macro-economic construction outlook
- New business development of targeted clients; new projects
- Account management of existing clients; new projects
- Identify prospective clients, build strong client engagement with clients
- Lead generation, lead qualification, due diligence
- Cold calling, business correspondences (email, whatsapp, linkedin)
- Meetings with prospective clients related with project pipeline
- Increase the number of official invitations in prospective project tenders
- Tender activity; procurement registration(e-proc or manual system), verbal invitation, official invitation, pre-qualification, aanwizing, qualification, clarification, negotiation, selection and award, contract generation, post won/lost analysis
- Planning and management of project pipeline
- Systemically coordinate, report logs, manage data, clients, projects pipeline on CRM
- Representing the company professionally from pitching to engaging with clients; business professional appearance both offline and online (whatsapp or linkedin profile, or other relevant professional work social media)
- Continuously learning and training to meet the work standards
- Any other relevant administrative work
- Any other relevant work assignment from Head of Business Development
- Report to Head of Business Development
Qualification
- Male or Female
- Diploma (D-III) of Engineering preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Engineering Science
- 1 year of experience in construction project sales/business development as Sales Engineer or Business Developer in Principal manufacturing (global company) or Contractor (national or global company)
- Potential fresh graduates that are interested in construction sales engineering or project business development are welcome to apply
- Passionate in sales with strong engineering concept background
- Basic understanding of construction project stages and its associated roles
- Basic ability to read DED, BQ, and shopdrawing
- Growth mindset and can-do attitude
- Strategic, problem-solving, fair and integrity
- Good coping ability in high pressure
- Healthy fit and proper to work physically and mentally
- Professional tidy business appearance (top to toe)
- English proficiency and good interpersonal communicatior
